Description
This white faucet, accented with a thin chrome ring, replaces the faucet on an existing sink: it slides into the hole provided for the faucet, onto a round base fitted with a black gasket. It then plugs into an outlet and heats the cold water as it flows through. It therefore requires neither a water heater nor a boiler. With one hand, you turn the white knob—whose red “HOT” mark indicates the hot side—and adjust the temperature from approximately 30 to 60 °C. The “Heating” indicator light shows that the unit is on. Its long, tall, curved spout with a chrome tip leaves enough room to slide in a large pot, skillet, or salad bowl without tilting them.
It’s just as handy for year-round use as it is for occasional use. It’s ideal for greasy dishes that don’t come clean in cold water, for washing your hands or face, and for a country or village home without a water heater. It can also be installed in a vacation or weekend home, in an apartment building where hot water is shut off or intermittent, or in a rental where major renovations are avoided.
